The architect, Hossein Amanat (1942 – ), combines Islamic and Pre-Islamic style to form an architectural masterpiece. The building act as a “cultural centre with a library, a museum and several art galleries”

Azadi Tower (Shafiee, 2007)

 

Hoseein Aamanat  understood the context of design in its particular era. Amanat was able to relate the building structure and aesthetic within its specific time and region, combining Islamic and Pre-Islamic style to form an architectural landmark in Iran.
